What is a Rally?

A rally is an opportunity for fellow Caravan and Motorhome owners to meet up on a regular basis to socialise, have fun and let their hair down after a hard week at work, or simply put their feet up and relax.

We rally throughout  Gwent (Abergavenny, Chepstow, Caldicot etc), the wider UK and abroad.

Most of our rallies are held in beautiful countryside and as you will see from some of the pictures in our gallery and around the website, the scenery can be stunning.  We also rally outside our area and this can include commercial sites.

If you have a caravan or motorhome and are members of the Caravan Club then you have everything you need to join us.

Never been on a rally before or worried about what it might entail?  Why not come along and see for yourself or contact us for a chat for more information.  We are a small Centre, but you will be made very welcome.

Special Offer for New Joiners to the Gwent Centre - when you join the Gwent Centre for the first time, you will receive a voucher entitling you to one nights free campsite fee when you book onto a standard weekend rally.  That’s right, buy one night, get one free for your first rally!!

Calling all Ralliers: We need your help to run the 2018 rallies, please contact our Rally Secretary if you would like to be a Rally Officer.  Send booking slips for the above rallies to the Hon. Rally Secretary until Rally Officers are confirmed.

If you haven’t run a rally before and are interested in helping out, please contact our Hon.Rally Secretary or one of the Committee, who will be pleased to advise and guide you.

Rally Books:  2018 Rally books have been posted to all Gwent Centre members.  If you have not received your copy please contact our Hon. Secretary, Sian Hesketh (gwentcentre@hotmail.com).

Sad News

It is with sadness and regret that I inform you of the passing of one of our members, Mr John Powell of Llangattock, Crickhowell. John passed away last Monday and we have been advised that his funeral will be held at 1500 on 22nd February at the Croesyceiliog Crematorium. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Diane and the family at this sad time.

Dinner 2018

This year’s Dinner Dance was held on Saturday 20th January  at The Manor Hotel in Crickhowell.

The Dinner Dance is one of the main high lights of any year for the Centre and was attended by the Chairs of all the other Welsh centres and Division and by a very good turn out of Gwent Centre members
